The head of the regional military administration Philip Pronin in his Telegram reported that the sound of the explosion was heard in the city. Air alarm in the region was announced at 14:12. Three minutes after Public Poltava wrote about explosions.

"The enemy attacked Poltava. The sound of the explosion was heard. All details are clarified. Keep calm and information silence," Pronin said, reminding that no photos and videos cannot be distributed. There is currently no information about the victims. It is also unknown what weapon the Russian invaders used for shelling. At the same time, local publications reported that there is a lot of smoke over the city. At 2:38 pm there was an alarm in the region.

On April 14, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired at the city of Siversk in the Bakhmut district in Donetsk region. The victims of the Russian attack were four men aged 36 to 86. A 67-year-old woman was killed in the village of Ocheretyne in the Pokrovsky district.
