The People's Deputy called it a gift from the city of Mayai, which was the first to decide on such a step. According to him, she gave a wonderful donor to 148 thousand cartridges. Representatives of the Verkhovna Rada and the National Police, as well as Mayor of Irpen, should take part in it.

The Ukrainian Arsenal Arsenal of Liberty initiative was created to defend amendments to the Ukrainian legislation on granting the right to carry weapons to Ukrainian citizens. The organization seeks to overcome the gap between the acute need of Ukrainian citizens in firearms and a shortage of firearms in Ukraine through the redemption programs of weapons and donations. Representatives of the structure work regardless of whether donations make individuals or organizations.

One of the main tasks is to build a stable security chain and a legal framework to ensure that civilians will be able to carry weapons in the event of a threat in the future. Ukrainian parliamentarians founded the "Ukrainian Arsenal of Freedom" to make firearms accessible to Ukrainian civilians for self -defense from Russia's offensive.
