Invincible Crys: Why Russia couldn't handle the bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper

Russians can do nothing with the Ukrainian bridgehead in the Krynki, despite their advantage. Military observer Oleksandr Kovalenko explains why this is happening and what can we expect a crust . . . Now only talk about the extension of the bridgehead on the left bank. Where exactly who knows? But they say that in the crusts. On the other hand, we have been hearing about the bridgehead in the Krynki for a long time. Do we hear about the bridgehead not in those cries? Cries are different, or . . .

? For understanding, Krynka is a village over 12 km long. It is elongated, and when it comes to the bridgehead in the Krynki, it is not about the whole village. Kherson, for example, 19 km long on the right bank. And you are about the cribs. But . . . But for the roof of the crust is a very uncomfortable location, and that's why. For extrusion of the Sou from the left bank in the Kryni ROV last year, three tactical groups were specifically formed, in almost two brigades.

These groups acted on the flanks, with Cossacks of the Lageri Crinka, Korsunka Crinka and the front from the route 2206 through the forest. In addition, the command of the ROV continued to increase the group of troops "Dnepr", and if in November 2023 there were 64 thousand OS, now it is 77 thousand AS. In addition, in service of Dnepr GV: but the effectiveness of such groups is reduced by the lack of control over the road of the first border and the dependence of all logistics chains on 2206.

For its part, 2206 is in the area not only of the SOU artillery from the right shore, but also activity drones. The left bank of the Kherson region is the case when drones can reveal their full functionality, without critical counteraction to the HR. This is due to the fact that for the effective operation of the IITs, these complexes should be in the area of defeat of the SUU artillery, and therefore the basic hope is on the trenches of the HPs with disabilities.

As a result, what do we have? The village with a length of 12 km, on several streets, but is elongated that it is difficult to counteract in each site in a timely manner, especially in conditions of limited logistics. Effective support for artillery and drones of a small group that does not even have BBM in service. All this leads to the fact that gradually the moat, not able to counteract the expansion of the bridgehead, begins to lose new areas.

In turn, the dispersion of attention to new areas reduces the efficiency of tactical groups of ditches operating near the cribs. The crusts were not just chosen as the basis for expanding the exposure of the SOU to the left shore. It is not only very difficult to block the enemy area, but also the actual agglomeration with the Cossack camps and Korsunka, with all the prospects that follow from it. But what is the most interesting . . .
