Despite the danger: Odessa will open the beach season during the war

All beaches should be equipped with protective nets, observation and rescue posts, buoys, loud speech and shelter. RVA should file acts on the readiness of the beaches by August 10. In Odessa, they plan to open the beach season for this weekend. This was reported by the head of Odessa Ova Oleg Kiper in his Telegram. "We open the sea to the velvet season. The Russian terrorist attack on the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station broke the beginning of the beach season in Odessa," said Oleg Kiper.

According to him, now the quality of water in the Black Sea has stabilized and meets sanitary standards. As a result, an order was signed for the preparation of access of people on the beach of Odessa region. However, before the season, all beaches must be equipped with protective nets in order to make it impossible to get mines, observation and rescue posts, buoys, loud speech and shelters nearby.

Kiper noted that Odesa, Belgorod-Dnestrovskaya and Izmail RVA should carry out appropriate preparation of beaches and submit acts on readiness for the Odessa OVA by 17:00 on August 10. "Those who do not have time can be submitted later. But I urge everyone to get in time so that this weekend this weekend could meet tourists. It will be up to +30, so we expect everyone for our best beaches in the world," Oleg Kiper added.

In June, the director of the Ukrainian National Sea Ecology Center Viktor Komorin said that the holiday season in Odessa could not be opened. After all, because of the blasting of the Dams of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, the salinity of water in the Black Sea decreased. This problem has affected the ecology of the whole region. As a result, he did not recommend swimming, fishing and consuming seafood.
