Jassm or "Banderol": The Russian Federation showed mysterious winged rocket class "Air-Earth"
An ammunition was made in the frame, which experts marked as a rocket "Air-Earth". However, no details about its characteristics are officially disclosed. It is only known that the product belongs to the class of winged missiles and has reduced radar visibility. Judging by the published frames, it is quite large in size, although it is difficult to accurately estimate the size due to a limited filming.
Viewers write that the shape of the main part of the rocket is reminiscent of American inconspicuous winged rocket AGM-158 Jassm. At the same time, the Ukrainian Channel "Colonel of the GS" put forward another version, according to which the photos allegedly depicted a new Russian drone rocket under the conditional name "Banderol". According to information from other Ukrainian sources, this weapon has already been used for blows to Odessa and Mykolaiv.
According to unconfirmed data, the Banderol ammunition is designed for use with heavy drones of the Orion type. It has a flight speed of 450-500 km/h and is equipped with a combat part of 120-140 kg. It has a flight speed of 450-500 km/h and a load capacity up to 200 kg. In this case, the shape of the case is similar to the solution used on the X-101 rocket to reduce radar. At the same time, the new rocket differs markedly from previously known Russian winged missiles, such as "Caliber" and "Onyx".
Experts say that it may contain traits characteristic of reactive drones, including compact fuselage and a potentially small turbojet engine. Despite the external similarity with the wing of the X-101 rocket, the new rocket probably has performance, closer to unmanned or semi-autonomous systems. In the context of the above, some Western military analysts believe that there may be a prototype intended for point blows for high -protected purposes, not a mass production system.
