According to the investigation, on March 18 last year, during the occupation of one of the settlements of Chernihiv region, Russian invaders were defeated in a foreign home. They staged a search of the locals, which were three brothers. The police explained that one of the brothers in the past brother participates in the ATO/OOS. The hostile fighters found a military uniform in the house, after which all relatives were beaten with examples and threatened with execution.

"Men were tied, bags and shackles were put on their heads, put in the APC and sent to the local farm, where they were imprisoned in one of the premises for four days, and tortured," the press service reported. The brothers were in a small room for several days without proper conditions. Their hands and eyes were tied.

On the evening of March 21, according to police, one of the men was forced to admit that the older brother of the family allegedly burned the military equipment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. After that, the commander, who was already identified as the head of the military police of Colonel Konstantin Smirnov, ordered to shoot all relatives. Law enforcement officers also managed to identify the identity of one of Smirnov's subordinates. He was Denis Podgorny.

"The invaders in the trunk of the car were taken out by civilians in the forest strip, kneeling before the dug pit and shot.
