"Handed Avdiivka": Russians spread a new fake about Syrsky

According to the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security, Alexander Sirsky made a decision to avoid the life and preservation of life and health of servicemen. The department calls the "delusional" statement of the Russians that the commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces "handed over Avdiivka".

Russian propagandists are actively spreading misinformation, arguing that the new commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Sirsky "handed over" the city of Avdiivka to the Russian Armed Forces. This was reported at the SPRAVDI strategic communications and information security. The source called such a statement "delusional" and emphasized that the city did not "give up", and the loss of the occupiers therefore clear confirmation.

In particular, the commander of the operational-strategic group of Tavriya troops Alexander Tarnavsky announced significant losses in the Russian armed forces in the Avdeevsky direction. According to him, from October 10, 2023 to February 17, 2024, the enemy lost 47 186 people.

"Based on the operational situation around Avdiivka, in order to avoid the environment and preserve the life and health of servicemen, he made a decision to remove our units from the city and move to defense on more profitable borders," - said the commander of Sirsky. Also we will remind that Russia actively spreads fake accounts on social networks, which allegedly belong to the commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Sirsky, in order to discredit his authority.

On February 8, Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces was Colonel-General Alexander Sirsky. The President noted that he expects a detailed plan for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2024, in particular, he should be realistic and take into account the current situation at the front.
