To Pokrovsk or Slavyansk: the expert named the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation after the occupation of Marinka

The Colonel of the Armed Forces Vladislav Seleznev believes that it is more important for the Russians to move from Marinka to the coal to ensure a permanent rail connection in the Volnovakha area. However, invaders can split and go towards Pokrovsk or Slavic-Kramatorsk agglomeration. Last week, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny stated that Marinka of Donetsk region is gone, but the Ukrainian military is still in the northern part of the city.

In the case of its capture, Russian invaders can choose two ways for further offensive. This was stated by a military expert, Colonel of the Armed Forces Vladislav Seleznev, according to the material "RBC-Ukraine". According to him, the enemy suffered great losses, so after the Mariinka of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will not be able to break quickly. Seleznyov added that the first path of the enemy in the event of the city will be captured by the coal.

"I think it is more important for them to move from Marinka to coal to provide a permanent railway in the Volnovakha area," he said. According to the expert, the Russians can split, some will go in the direction of Kurakhov and Pokrovsk to enter the Slavic-Kramatorsk agglomeration. "It is unclear now that the enemy will work. But it is possible that Slavyansk and Kramatorsk want to step coordinated from the south, north and east," the Colonel of the Armed Forces assures.

According to the "Institute of War Study", the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to intensify control of Marinka and recently have been advanced southwest of Donetsk. Geolocated footage shows that the occupation group of troops advanced to the east of Novomikhailivka. In addition, a video was published, on which Russian "troops" were freely walking in the city on December 27. According to analysts, this indicates that the Armed Forces control most, if not the whole city.

On December 26, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the invaders completely destroyed the settlement, but Ukrainian troops were still in the northern part of Marinka, however, they prepared a defense border outside the city. Zaluzhny explained that the military equipped their positions in the outskirts of the city, and in some parts - outside Marinka.
