Among the main priorities of Ukrainian diplomats - weapons and sanctions - Head of State

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the second main benchmark in the work of Ukrainian diplomats for the next six months is the provision of weapons and technique of our army and strengthening the sanction policy against the Russian Federation. The Head of State said this in a speech during an emergency meeting with heads of diplomatic institutions of Ukraine in foreign countries held in the Transcarpathian region.

“The power of our warriors on the front is largely due to the power of our arrangements with our friends and partners. The more successful diplomacy is all forms: official and unofficial, institutional, media, cultural diplomacy - and the power of ordinary human sincerity, that is, that we are better understood in the world, our soldiers can do more, ”Vladimir Zelensky said.

"The world helps the one who understands, and this has a clear diplomatic dimension - in fact it is an indicator of the effectiveness of your work," he added. The Head of State emphasized that Ukrainian troops need effective air defense systems, long-range weapons, including ATACMS, equipment and scarce shells, and F-16 aircraft. “This month will begin training of our Ukrainian pilots.

It is now worth working for one hundred percent with the countries that have these planes and which will be able to pass them after training. It is a powerful, difficult task. The supply and combat use of the F-16 pilots should take place as soon as possible, ”the President said. In addition, as noted by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine aims to make a domestic defense and industrial complex one of the strongest in Europe, which also needs diplomatic support.

According to him, in the fall in Ukraine there will be the first Defense Industrial Forum, which should be presented as much as possible by foreign companies. “The activity of our diplomacy should ensure a change in the front equilibrium to Ukraine. And it is possible, ”Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced.

Regarding the sanction policy against the Russian Federation, the Head of State stressed that the fundamental task of Ukrainian diplomats is to convince partners and foreign companies daily to close all possible ways of supplying critical components to Russia to maximize the production potential of the terrorist state. “The synchronization of the speed of sanction policy between our partners is required. Those who are lagging in sanctions should feel how important it is to be faster.
