NATO Integration in NATO: Anti -Military Visa and Budget Category of the Ministry of Defense

According to Deputy Minister of Defense Yuri Dzhigir, Ukraine is approaching NATO standards and introducing real tools that have long and successfully operated in all NATO countries. The Cabinet of Ministers supported the joint initiative of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Finance and the Customs Service, according to which the movement of weapons and military equipment across the state border of Ukraine will now take place according to the NATO standard.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. "To approach NATO standards, a document called" Form 302 "was approved by the relevant resolution. It will be used to declare military equipment and other goods of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, NATO Member States and the EU," the press service said. The new document (form 302) will replace the customs declaration and will significantly save the time of passing the border by simplifying the procedure.

This form will be used in particular to move the equipment abroad for training. "It's not about formal changes in customs procedures. Form 302 is a real tool that has long and successfully operated in all NATO countries. And will work in Ukraine," said Deputy Minister of Defense Yuri Dzhigir. This step demonstrates the readiness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for integration in NATO in all industries.

In addition, the government has signed resolutions governing the exchange of information between the Customs Service and the Ministry of Defense. Yuri Jigir also reported that the Defense Ministry categorizes defense expenditures in the same way to the approach that exists in NATO. The defense budget for 2024 (1,16 trillion hryvnia) is divided into three large packages: "The second package is the largest.
