"Heavier to move": shrubs and weeds interfere

Analysts noted that the lands in the southern direction of the front have been under the influence of warm air for a year and a half, and therefore accelerate the growth of plants. This creates problems for both sides. The southern regions of Ukraine began to overgrown with shrubs, which creates certain problems for the Ukrainian soldiers, who started counter -offensive. This is stated in the UK Ministry of Defense Intelligence report on August 3.

According to analysts, all conversations about the slow promotion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conditioned not only by the line of defense of the Russian invaders, which they managed to build during the preparation, but also by the natural nuances. "Lands in the war zone have been under steam for 18 months, and in the conditions of warm and wet summer the growth of weeds and shrubs is accelerated," the report reads.

In this regard, an additional cover helps the Russian army mask defense positions and thus significantly complicates the mine fields that in the south are enormous. "Although thickets can also serve as a cover for small secret infantry attacks, it has generally led to both parties to move forward," summed up analysts from the UK Ministry of Defense. What will turn into the future and whether Ukrainian defenders will be able to overcome a new problem - time will tell.
