According to security forces, money transfers were carried out in cryptocurrency, and the final owners of "business" were Russian citizens. The Security Service reported the elimination of illegal online casino, which was transferred to Russia by almost UAH 3 billion. About it reports the press center of the department. According to law enforcement officers, they neutralized an organized criminal group created by Russian citizens in Ukraine.

The suspects, according to the SBU, opened an illegal online casino, through which almost 3 billion hryvnias were transferred in the Russian Federation. At the head of the group were citizens of the aggressor country, and Ukrainians were looking for offices and staff, as well as responsible for setting up computer equipment and authorization of "gambling users".

In addition, according to law enforcement officers, citizens of Ukraine monitored payments and set up the infrastructure required for gambling online. "It is established that during the period of functioning of the criminal organization from the territory of Ukraine in the Russian Federation, almost 3 billion hryvnias were removed due to crypto -operating.

Ten participants of illegal activities, including citizens of Ukraine and Russia, have been suspected of several articles of the Criminal Code: Part 1, Part 2 of Art. 255 - "creation, management of a criminal community or criminal organization, as well as participation in it"; Part 2 of Art. 203-2-"Illegal activity in organizing or conducting gambling, lotteries"; Part 1, Part 2 of Art. 209 - "Legalization (laundering) of property obtained by crime.
