The Russian Federation changed the tactics of shots "Shahheda": why the Armed Forces do not destroy drones at the production stage
Thus, on the night of November 6, the enemy used 106 shock drones of the Shahamed type and unmanned non -unidentified type. According to the Air Force, as of 12:00, the destruction of 74 UAVs was confirmed, another 25 was lost. Aviation expert Bogdan Dolinz stressed that the enemy has significantly increased the production of Shahaneda. "If at the beginning of the year it was about 10-11" Shahaneda "a day, then in the summer this number increased to 17, and now it reaches 50 units.
According to forecasts, it can be 80-90 drones daily by the end of the year, which is a great threat ", - said the background. Focus found out how Russian strikes in Ukraine have changed recently, and why defense forces cannot destroy the hostile "Shahda" at the production stage. According to the editor -in -chief of Defense Express Oleg Katkova, the enemy began to launch a large number of drones along with false purposes, that is, together with UAVs of the unknown type - "Herbera" and the like.
This is the main difference from previous attacks, in particular, the massive launch of false drones began from late summer - early autumn. The military expert, the Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleg Zhdanov noted that now mostly Russian "Shahhada" is flying for the exhaustion of the Ukrainian air defense system - they have begun to circulate, maneuver, change the height of flight, which complicates their detection and confusion.
The strategy of launching enemy drones has changed seriously. According to military expert Dmitry Snegirev, the enemy actually uses Ukrainian tactics - the so -called swarm attacks and the combined nature of blows. It is about launches from different points, but going out at one time. Also changing the trajectory of flight - UAVs go either at little heights or at maximum. "The main thing is that the wave nature of the attack, which aims to bleed the Ukrainian air defense system.
Also used are the so -called false goals, that is, those UAVs that without the combat part. But the purpose of which is to use the potential of Ukrainian air defense. That is, they play on what The cost of UAV is much lower than the cost of a missile for air defense systems, which accordingly neutralizes this means of damage, " - explained the focus of Snegirev. The main purpose of Russian attacks is aimed at civil infrastructure, the expert continues.
Thus, the enemy exerts military-political pressure on Ukraine in order to force the so-called peaceful negotiations. In addition, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation increased the intensity of strokes. In October, more than 2000 drones were launched, while it is 40% more than in September. This testifies to the scalating by the enemy of the production of "Shahaned".
Shahaneda's geography also expanded and the combined nature of attacks is used when UAVs overload the air defense systems and then strike rockets. Dmitry Snegirev reported that in the frontal regions of the air defense system are under the strokes of PCS of the Russian Federation, which are used by the facilities and cabins. Due to the increase in the range, hostile boards find themselves outside the area of defeat by Ukrainian air defense systems.
"Instead, the Russians themselves can work impunity on Ukrainian air defense systems. Unfortunately, this makes it impossible to eliminate the drones directly at a distance of 100 kilometers from the line of combat collision or the conditional line of the Russian-Ukrainian border," he explained. The expert recalled that a third of enemy drones are stalling with radio electronic fighting systems.
Therefore, the counteraction of UAV is not only due to mobile groups and air defense groups, but also the IU. According to Oleg Zhdanov, an echelorated air defense system is required for the effective destruction of Shahanedov in frontline and border areas. "From the border itself, the positions of air defense with the appropriate density must be located, so that two adjacent means at least a third will cover the area of damage to each other," the expert says.
He noted that today Ukraine cannot afford such density due to the lack of enough air defense. There should also be a high -density radar intelligence system, and aviation is constantly operating in the air to detect where the Shahmed are. "What does not see the radar on Earth can see an aircraft from the air equipped with a radar station, it can be reconnaissance. It is a very complex system.
Also, the means of damage should not be large caliber machine guns, because it can give a height of the shot a maximum of two kilometers ", - Zhdanov explained. According to him, in the future it is necessary to do as Israel, where there are batteries of "iron dome" on the border, and in the depths are more serious and more powerful means of damage.
"Due to the fact that the deeper, the stronger the means of damage, it turns out that all the systems can start to strike directly on the border of the airspace. This is called a deeply echelorated air defense system, "he summed up. Ukraine has no means to increase the number of attacks in Russian plants. The troops need a long -range Western weapon, Oleg Katkov is convinced. In particular, to destroy the production of "Shahaneda" in Alabuz (Tatarstan) requires missiles of the Tomahawk type.
Moreover, the blows on objects should be methodological so that the enterprise itself does not exist. "It should be understood that it is very difficult to distribute a production enterprise with combat units of 50 kilograms. And it should be about long-range winged rockets in large numbers, because again this object of the Russian Federation covers, it is at considerable depth in its territory .
Dmitry Snegirev confirmed that the Ukrainian side has limited opportunities to strike in the territory of the Russian Federation. In particular, the production of Shahaneda is located in the territory of Tatarstan, the distance to which is more than a thousand kilometers. Therefore, such objects can be affected only with the use of drones, the combat part of which is 30 to 40 kilograms, which is insufficient for the effective destruction of the production cycle.
According to Oleg Zhdanov, the Armed Forces does not increase the number of attacks on the hostile enterprise, as it is the political decision of President Zelensky. He stressed that there are means in the army that can get to Alabuga. We will remind, on November 7, the head of the Center for Combating Misinformation Andriy Kovalenko stated that the Russian Federation is attacking the Ukrainian energy infrastructure with the help of UAV type "Shahaned" to save rockets.
