"Battle Field Formation": OP was assessed

The adviser to the head of the OP Mikhail Podolyak believes that Russia has an extraordinary volume of defense structures, but the Ukrainian army was ready for it, so the prospects of counter -offensive are optimistic. The office of the President of Ukraine believes that the first stage of the counter -offensive is successful. This was reported by the adviser to the head of OP Mikhail Podolyak in an interview with the Russian edition of Meduza.

At this stage, according to Podolyak, the Armed Forces are focused on the formation of the battlefield. The Ukrainian army is successfully moving in many areas. This makes it possible to assume that the cumulative effect will work in the future. "The first phase of offensive operations in different directions is ongoing - Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Southern.

Somewhere [the Armed Forces] are already biting into the first echelon [defense] and at the same time increase the intensity [blows in Russia for] exhaustion mobile to throw, " - said the adviser to the head of the OP. Russia's defensive potential remains high enough, which is why it is critical to support Western partners in the form of weapons supply. Mikhail Podolyak notes that Ukraine needs long -range missiles, fighters that would resist Russian tactical aviation.

Also, there is not enough tougers and shells of heavy caliber. The adviser to the head of the OP adds that it is not necessary to wait for quick results from the counter -offensive, since the Russian army is well equipped and to break the defense in a short period is impossible. However, the tactical defeats of the army of the Russian Federation, which are directed by the Armed Forces, will eventually lead to the fall of the Russian regime.

We will remind, in Washington, on July 7, a new military aid package of Ukraine for $ 800 million was announced, which included, in particular, cassette ammunition, as well as additional ammunition for Patriot and Himars, howitzers and combat vehicles. At the same time, Germany previously opposed Ukraine's cassette ammunition approved by the United States, since it is one of the 111 states of the Convention, which prohibits the use, accumulation, production and transfer of such weapons.
