Do not want to fight each other: what topics share Ukrainians and how the Russian Federation can use it
Yes, there are certain tension lines (depicted in the photo), but they are not critical. This is really positive news that indicates that Ukrainians are much wiser and more stable than it is often said in "expert" circles. From bad news - these tension lines can be used by Russian propaganda for manipulation and destabilization. And, unfortunately, the current information policy in Ukraine is not always able to effectively resist these threats, as it is too fond of its own propaganda.
Thomas Reed notes that one of the main indicators of propaganda is that it cannot be measured accurately. This is a problem because it is difficult to argue without a clear assessment of efficiency why large financial resources are needed to support it. Although there are considerable funds for propaganda, the lack of methods of measuring its influence blocks the understanding of the processes that it is directed.
This is a weak place not only for Russia that actively uses propaganda, but also for anyone who uses this tool. Propaganda in the format of Ukrainian marathons or official information policy today is "propaganda on the contrary" that can weaken us. An attempt to impose a certain opinion does not work as efficiently as an honest discussion that goes beyond public policy. The solution is an honest conversation. It doesn't matter what channels are transmitted - Telegram, iPhone or Samsung.
The main thing is a transparent information policy, which is built on truth and trust, not on manipulation and imaginary control. Another problem was mentioned during the discussion Valery Baker. We are so much awaiting "polarization" that have turned it into Self-Fulfilling Prophasis. That is why the respect of the support is for the fact that they are based on their conclusions on scientific data and research, not on subjective feelings.
