According to Fred Kaplan, the US National Security Council has been developing a scenario of nuclear confrontation with Russia since 2016. And I know that there is an additional option on the table if Russia is used by nuclear weapons," Kaplan said. The political scientist also explained that after the first atomic bomb is blown up, no one knows what will happen next. Therefore, he said, it is better to stay away from everything that can cause this type of weapon.

"The only reason that NATO and the US do not participate in this war are that Russia has nuclear weapons," Kaplan said.
