Russia tries to make Kherson region in a literally zone of alienation; The world has to respond to this - the Presidential Appeal of Ukraine

I wish health, dear Ukrainians! He has just completed communication with students and teaching community of Yale University - one of the leading universities in the United States and all over the world. Its graduates have a significant impact on decision -making - political, business, at the level of public and international organizations.

It is such appeals, as it is to representatives of Yale University, that we expand the range of those who understand what is happening in Ukraine and helps us to protect freedom. I will continue this work next week. We will continue to expand our capabilities, in particular through informal diplomacy-through the public in partner countries, through the student community, through professional and business communities. He negotiated with George Meloni today, the head of the Italian government. Ms.

Prime Minister congratulated on the appointment, discussed the opportunities to strengthen our cooperation in different directions-this is the security direction, the economy, diplomacy, including the integration of our country into European and Euro-Atlantic structures. He held several meetings with the military regarding the current situation in the forefront, our active actions. Today, the enemy reports the alleged completion of their mobilization . . .

The allegedly needlessness of new waves of sending Russian citizens to the front. We feel quite different on the front line. Although Russia is trying to increase the pressure on our positions, using mobilized, but they are so poorly prepared and equipment, they are so roughly used by the command that it suggests that Russia may soon need a new wave of people sending people to war.

We are preparing for this-we are preparing for the fact that the current Russian leadership will look for any new opportunities to continue the war. In particular, thanks to his accomplices in Iran. That is why we work with our partners daily in order to strengthen our air defense, our other defense capabilities. We increase the protection of our critical infrastructure, especially energy, daily.

As of this time, in many cities and districts of our country, graphs of stabilization shutdowns are being used - about 4 million Ukrainians have restrictions now. Kyiv and region, Zhytomyr region, Poltava, Rivne, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy region, Cherkasy region, Kirovohrad region. Emergency shutdowns in other regions are also possible. We do everything to make the states the opportunity to reduce such shutdowns. The invaders added another challenge - in the occupied territory.

In fact, they dismantle all the health care system there. The occupiers decided to close medical institutions in cities, to take out equipment, ambulance machines - just everything . . . They press on doctors who are still in the occupied areas so that they move to the territory of Russia. First of all, this applies to the Kherson region. Russia makes an area from Kherson without civilization, without elementary things that are available in most countries of the world.

This region, as well as all other regions of Ukraine, was quite normal and safe, there were guaranteed all social services to people . . . Life was guaranteed there. And now Russia is trying to make Kherson region in a literally zone of alienation. The world must respond to this. Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all our representatives inform international organizations and partners about this new escalation step of the occupiers.

And I want to turn to all our people in these occupied cities and districts now: please do everything to help each other-despite any occupants' actions. The Ukrainian flag will return. We will return a normal life. But you need to withstand this time. The time when the invaders are formally confirmed that they do not stay in Ukraine, and therefore they try to steal medical equipment, to enslave medical staff.

I thank the United States of America - today the next military assistance package of Ukraine has been announced. Its volume is $ 275 million. Things for our defenders are very needed, and they allow us to release our territory step by step. It is not only that helps us to move on the battlefield, it is what enables us to guarantee people a fundamental right to life. I want to thank Canada today - our ancient and sincere partners.

For an unprecedented act on the release of sovereign Canada bonds, all the funds from which will be directed to assistance to Ukraine. The volume is half a billion dollars. And these bonds will be available for investment not only in Canada, but around the world. This is an extremely powerful example for all our partners. Canada is the first country to propose such a support tool. Thank you, Justin, Mr.
