Denmarking in Denmark of Ukrainian pilots takes place as part of the Air Force Capability Coalition coalition, the purpose of which is to provide Ukraine with F-16 fighter fighters to protect the territory and airspace. Deadnder noted that the joint efforts of partners in the international coalition lead to a combined and successful approach to the creation of modern Ukrainian military-air forces capable of protecting the population and territory of the country in the medium-term and long term.
"As a minister, I am proud that our Belgian Air Force can be involved in this important program for the preparation of Ukrainian F-16 pilots, as well as their technical and land staff," the minister said. At the same time, in the framework of the coalition in the second half of 2024, Belgium will send another 50 specialists and two F-16 fighters for these purposes. In addition to combat pilots in Denmark, there are training and aircraft maintenance.
One of them, the technician of the games, shared with the journalists the details of what tasks he performs during the preparation activities. According to him, his profile specialists are taught to organize a flight change, to control the work and the direction of aircraft for repair.
"But it is more the exploitation and organization of the flights themselves, the definition of aircraft that will be on the flight change, and the definition of people who will serve this technique," the technician said. He emphasized the importance of gaining the experience of other countries that have already developed and formed their air forces.
