Defense Minister Belgium Lodivin Dedonnger and Defense Head Admiral Michel Hoffman on March 18 visited Denmark to meet a detachment with about 50 Belgian servicemen who are currently training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 planes. Denmarking in Denmark of Ukrainian pilots takes place as part of the Air Force Capability Coalition coalition, the purpose of which is to provide Ukraine with F-16 fighter fighters to protect the territory and airspace. "As a minister, I am proud that our Belgian Air Force can be involved in this important program for the preparation of Ukrainian F-16 pilots, as well as their technical and land staff," the minister said. At the same time, in the framework of the coalition in the second half of 2024, Belgium will send another 50 specialists and two F-16 fighters for these purposes. In addition to combat pilots in Denmark, there are training and aircraft maintenance.
