The SPSU notes that now active actions on the border with Belarus are not fixed, but it is strengthened and closely defended. The situation remains controlled. In Belarus, they decided to introduce a counter -terrorist operation in part of the Gomel region of the country that borders Ukraine. It is noted that the counter -terrorist regime was introduced in the Lelchytsky district of the Gomel region. The Zhytomyr and Rivne regions are bordered by this area. At the same time, the reasons for this decision are not reported. "The population of the area is asked to keep calm and obey the requirements of law enforcement officers," the message reads.

The State Border Service spokesman Ruslan Demchenko said in a comment "UP" that now active actions at the border with Belarus are not recorded, but it is strengthened and intelligently defended. The situation remains controlled. And the "counter -terrorist operation" of Belarusians could name their exercises.

"Information on the introduction in one of the districts of the Gomel region of Belarus, bordering on the border of Ukraine, the regime of a counter -terrorist operation is more like attention. It is not excluded that they decided to call these exercises a counter -terrorist regime, "he said. It should be reminded that on February 8 it was reported that Belarus built more than 20 hangars in the largest tank storage.
