All roads lead to Crimea: US General Ben Gogess told how the Armed Forces will be released

The American general is convinced that the result of the Ukrainian counter -offensive operation is already inevitable, it will lead to the release of Crimea by the summer of 2023. The Ukrainian counter -offensive has already achieved an irreversible impulse, so the liberation of Crimea is inevitable. Lieutenant General Ben Gogess said this in an interview with Radio Liberty in Europe.

He pointed out that the counter -offensive has two wings - in the Kherson direction and in the eastern, which converge on the approaches to the peninsula. "Let's think about the Ukrainian counter -offensive that began in September. Take it as one major operation," the general advised. "And so the left wing of the counter -offensive is an operation that has descended from Kharkiv, now [it passes] near Donetsk and moves on Mariupol. The wing is in Kherson. So it is the right wing.

So both of these wings converge to the Crimea. All roads lead to Crimea. " Ben Gogeges believes that the fighting in Kherson and on its surroundings will last for several weeks until the Armed Forces destroy all the invaders on the right bank of the Dnieper. In his opinion, Mariupol's liberation will be much faster than the capture of the city by the Russian army. First, because the occupiers do not have the motivation to stand for him to death, as Ukrainian defenders of Mariupol did.

Secondly, the invaders will sooner or later realize that they were trapped, because they will have the Sea of Azov. In addition, the capabilities of the Russian army are limited, it becomes less technology, and the logistics system is exhausted. "Of course, I rely on open sources, but we know that Ukrainians are intercepting all sorts of conversations of Russian soldiers that they have no cars, they have no details, they have no ammunition," Gogeges stressed.

General Gogess is convinced that the entrance to the peninsula associated with the mainland only a few narrow roads will not be a big problem for the Armed Forces. Approaching Crimea, Ukrainian troops will be able to use HIMARS and other high -ranging systems to strike military goals. The Black Sea Fleet will not be able to protect them, as its ships are already hiding from Ukrainian anti -ship missiles and drones.

"When the Ukrainian forces begin to use high-precision weapons at each airfield and every naval base in Crimea, the Russian forces will become very vulnerable," Hoodge emphasized. "The pressure on Russia is increasing, Ukrainians get more opportunities, which, incidentally, is happening: drones, aviation, distant fire and other means. " The General pointed out that the occupiers could not save the Kerch Bridge from diversion, he suggests that Ukrainians would try to make it unusable.

At this point, the Russians will not be able to replenish their reserves through Mariupol, so the Russian command will have to decide how much they are ready to lose and whether there are reserves to continue the fight. "Therefore, if we, the event, continue to support Ukraine, then I will be sure that the next summer of 2023 Crimea will be released," Ben Gogess stated. Earlier, General Gogess stated that the United States should transfer ATACMS systems for HIMARS up to 300 km.

This will allow the Armed Forces to strike at the points from where the occupiers start rockets and drones for attack on Ukrainian cities, as well as accelerate the liberation of Crimea. We will remind, Ben Goodges suggests that this winter the Russians will face the difficulties that the Soviet army survived during the invasion of Finland in 1939.
