The Netherlands allocated 150 million euros for weapons of the Air-Earth class for Ukrainian F-16
Ammunition specially designed for use from F-16 aircraft will be purchased directly from manufacturers, which will provide timely support for Ukraine's military needs. The Netherlands also send previously promised F-16 fighters and related equipment to Romania. These planes are intended not only for defense operations, but also should become the most important component of the training center for Ukrainian and Romanian pilots.
In total, 18 Dutch F-16s were allocated for training in Romania, and 24 more machines are being prepared for supply to Ukraine. This training is coordinated by a coalition partners, demonstrating a single front in providing military assistance to Ukraine.
Thus, it is reported in the publication, the Netherlands, together with Dania and the United States, head the Ukraine Defense Contact Group coalition on the air forces, taking an active position in supporting Ukraine in the face of a continuing conflict. In addition to aviation support, the Netherlands government has expanded its contribution, including unmanned aviation systems.
By investing more than 200 million euros, the Netherlands plan to buy and transfer a significant amount of UAV to Ukraine. Drones that have already proven efficiency on the battlefield will be purchased in cooperation with other partners and the Armed Forces.
