Great Explosive Manufacturer: Ukrainian drones attacked Novokibyshevsky NPP (video)

This petrochemical company is one of the largest producers of petrochemistry and organic synthesis in the Russian Federation and Eastern Europe, said the Telegram channel "Exilenova+". The enterprise is included in the production chain of the Russian MIC.

Organic synthesis products are used as a raw material for the production of a wide range of explosives for artillery shells, aviation and other ammunition. In addition, the enterprise operates key capacity of basic petrochemistry: production of liquefied hydrocarbons, MTAE, benzene, phenol, alphamethylstyrene and olefins. The head of the Center for Combating Misinformation (CPD) at the NSDC of Ukraine Andriy Kovalenko confirmed the fact of the attack on the Novokubyshev oil chemical company.

Novokubyshev oil chemical company is the only manufacturer of synthetic ethyl alcohol in Russia that has no analogues in other post -Soviet countries. The annual processing volume is about 1 million tons, he said. It should be noted that at the time of publication of the news of the SBS, the Armed Forces did not comment on the arrivals of drones at the Novokubyshev Oil Refinery. The Russian Defense Ministry declares the destruction and interception of a total of 35 Ukrainian amendments.

At the same time, three of them allegedly knocked over the territory of Samara region. The Ukrainian drones were not the first time attacked the Novokibyshevsky Refinery. In March 2025, a strong fire broke out after the UAV hit. A similar blow was in March 2024: then the drones caused a comprehensive blow to oil refineries in the Samara region. These plants recycle up to 25 million tons of oil per year - is almost 10% of the total oil refining of the Russian Federation.
