Russia wants to disconnect the Zaporozhye NPP from the grid and disconnect the south of Ukraine - Energoatom

In NNEGC "Energoatom" was named the Artobstils by the Russian military of the Ukrainian NPP by the act of nuclear terrorism. According to a statement in the official Telegram-channel of Energoatom, the Russians are conducting shells of Zaporizhzhya NPP to destroy its infrastructure, to destroy power lines through which the electricity enters the power system of Ukraine. Energoatom warns that such actions of the occupiers will lead to the disconnection of the southern regions of the country.

If the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continues the shelling of Zaporizhzhya NPP, it can lead to a nuclear and radiation accident at a nuclear power plant, warned in the company. The statement of an energy company states that Russia is trying to turn the Zaporozhye NPP into a military base of nuclear terrorists. Rosatom representatives want to disconnect the NPP from the power system of Ukraine through the actions of the Russian military.

The Russians want to destroy the infrastructure of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, as well as to disconnect the station and launch diesel generators of all power units to ensure the cooling of nuclear fuel in nuclear reactors and pools of exposure of waste nuclear fuel. The Russian military also place their equipment, weapons and explosives in the machine halls of two units of the ZPP - the first and the second. This is how the largest nuclear power units are mines in Europe.

The coastline of the power plant and the coast of the Kakhovka reservoir is also mine. The development of such a scenario can be prevented by UN and IAEA actions, as well as the international community, which should influence Russia in order to bring their troops from the territory of Zaporizhzhya NPP.
