"Count money, not people": GUR reacted to the plans of the Russian Federation to capture the Dnieper and Kharkiv (map)

Russia, as the GUR spokesman Andriy Chernyak reported, will continue to sacrifice people, and they will have financial resources for war until 2025. Russian invaders will continue to try to seize new Ukrainian territories, but they will not have enough strength. The representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Chernyak in a comment "RBC-Ukraine" informed the details.

In his opinion, the aggressor country will not be able to put into place plans to take control of major cities. The military intelligence emphasized that the enemy had plans to capture Ukrainian cities before. Russian invaders seek to occupy new territories if this is possible. Andriy Chernyak stressed that the Russian troops will not work in this regard.

According to him, resources will not be enough for it, because the presence of people is one, and the occupation and maintenance requires much more than mobilized inexperienced military. Chernyak noted that the Kremlin voiced its grandiose goals for several years, with none of them achieved. "Yes, people do not count in Moscow, but they count money there. The financial resources for the war will be enough until 2025. And then we will see," he explained.

Andriy Chernyak noted that for the Russian leadership the situation of Patoto, as Moscow announced the "entry" of the occupied territories of Ukraine into the Russian Federation, although it is not so in fact. In an attempt to achieve something, the Russians will continue to sacrifice human resources. The German edition of Bild on December 14 reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin has a plan to seize even more territories of Ukraine and hold fake negotiations.

Moscow is working on the implementation of a new medium -term military plan concerning the war in Ukraine. It envisages the capture of new territories. As it was noted, by the end of 2024 the invaders intend to capture completely Donetsk and Lugansk region and move to the Oskil River in Kharkiv region, and in 2025-2026-to occupy the "large parts" of Zaporizhzhya, Dniprovsk and Kharkiv regions.
