How to get nuclear weapons: US and NATO Special Program can help (video)

After joining NATO in Ukraine, there will be no chance of making its own nuclear weapons officially. It can be like an Israel who has long stated that he has no nuclear weapons, but if necessary, he will apply it, experts say. In order for Ukraine to theoretically restore its nuclear potential, you need to at least join NATO.

Ukraine has not abandoned the non -proliferation of nuclear weapons, and so it can only receive it under the NATO "Nuclear Sharing" program, that is, to store foreign nuclear warheads. Political scientist Alexei Buryachenko and the chairman of the International Association of Small Cities and the Chairman of the Center for Analysis and Strategies Igor Chalenko told this in an interview with Focus.

For example, it is thanks to such a program that the Poles are asked to place US nuclear missiles in their territory. And it is also interesting that the French do not belong to the so -called "nuclear umbrella" and can determine the whole strokes themselves, says Chalenko. "The British have only four atomic submarines, one of which is constantly on patrol, that is, these forces are not enough," Chalenko notes. "Therefore, of course, the main focus is on the US nuclear arsenal.

" According to the expert, the war in Ukraine showed how autocracy is trading nuclear technologies. The DPRK and Iran are actively increasing their nuclear experiences thanks to Russia. According to Alexei Buryachenko, when Ukraine enters NATO, she will not have the chance to develop her nuclear weapons officially. It can be as with Israel, who has long stated that there was no nuclear weapon, but if necessary, it will apply it.

"Of course, Ukraine has all the technical and scientific opportunities to get its own nuclear weapons, although it will be fantastically expensive," Buryachenko notes. "But it will not be possible to renew the official status of nuclear tests. However, this can only be done before the NATO entered, the expert notes.

After that, it will be necessary to coordinate military infrastructure and all kinds of available weapons with the Alliance, which does not exclude the placement of not Ukrainian, but American nuclear weapons in Ukraine, Burchenko notes. We will remind, on February 29, Putin threatened NATO with a nuclear blow in response to the introduction of troops into Ukraine. Putin stated that Western countries should understand that Russia also has a weapon that can affect targets in their territory.
