The French oil giant sells a share in the Russian enterprise after accusations of supplying fuel of the Russian army

French Totalenergies sells a share in a joint venture with the Russian company Novatek after led Le Monde for the possible involvement in the supply of fuel for Russian military fighters. The French Energy Giant Totalenergies sells its 49% in the Russian Navatek's Russian thermal Carstone Gas field after the LE Monde article that the company may be related to the supply of kerosene for Russian fighter jets. "On August 26, Totalenergies and Novatek signed the final purchase and sale agreement of 49% of Totalenergies in Terneftegaz," the company said. The operation is expected to be closed in September 2022. The company also added that on July 6, Totalenergies announced the sale of 20% of the remaining shares in the Kharyagin Foreign Oil Project. This agreement was closed on August 3.
