"The situation is difficult, because if the enemy manages to take possession of Yampolivka and Tornsky - they will be able to fully intercept the initiative in the Siversky and Liman directions and will try to displace the forces of the defense of Ukraine from the Serebryansky forestry to the Siversky Donets River," the Lieutenant of the Armed Forces wrote.

The serviceman suggests that after leveling the front under Kurakhov and the crisis in the offensive near Pokrovsk, the offensive of the Russian Federation can be activated in the estuary direction. The press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces as of 16:00 on March 4 reported nine attacks of Russians in the Lyman direction in the areas of Novomikhailivka, Greek, Novy, Yampolivka and Dibrovy.
