"Conversation without Putin": Ukraine has identified the conditions for negotiations with Russia - Kuleba

Peace negotiations are possible only after the full withdrawal of the Russian military from the Ukrainian territory, and the discussion will be held with the participation of the mediator, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine says. Negotiations with Russia are possible under certain conditions, but they will not happen with Russian President Vladimir Putin because of its large number of criminal actions.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleb told this in an interview with Corriere Deella Sera. According to Kuleba, negotiations with Russia are possible only after the full withdrawal of troops of the Russian Federation from the territory of Ukraine. However, he clearly states that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is not a business partner for these negotiations because of his criminal acts. "Putin is not a partner for negotiations. He has committed too many serious crimes.

There are other diplomatic ways of indirect struggle," the minister said. Kuleba also pointed out that Putin and President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky at one table for negotiations would never see. Emphasizing the need for full withdrawal of Russian troops, the minister added that the diplomatic approach also matters. He noted that the generals of the military forces of Ukraine influence the Russians to achieve retreat, but diplomacy also plays an important role in finding decisions.

At the same time, Kuleba expressed doubts about the opportunity to start negotiations until the full withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine, indicating that Russia continues to attack and prefers war over peace. The Ukrainian side seeks to find creative solutions and is ready for dialogue, but there are no reasons for negotiations due to the unusual aggressive course of Russia.

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry also recalled that last year the "Grain Agreement" was concluded, which Russia did not resist, despite the mediation of the UN Secretary General Anthony Guterrish and Turkey President Recep Tayip Erdogan. "There were two separate agreements with us and with Moscow, there was never a direct understanding. We need some creativity to find a solution.

We will look for them in any way, but there are no conditions at present: Russia continues to attack us, it prefers war, And not peace, "the minister said. We will remind that on August 6 Andriy Yermak told about the results of the meeting in Saudi Arabia. Jedda, Saudi Arabia, has a peaceful summit on the principles of restoring sustainable and just peace for Ukraine. According to Andrei Yermak, the conversation between the representatives of the countries was open and honest.
