"Parody" on "Shahaned": How cheap plywood drones are exacerbated by Russia's attacks (photos, videos)

Russia launches more and more drones in Ukraine, but about half of them are "baits". They complicate the protection against shock UAVs that can do great damage. Since August, Russian troops have been used for parody drones to improve the efficiency of Shahheda attacks. The focus understood what aircraft was. According to Alexander Kovalenko's military-political observer, the Russians began to launch "parodies" together with "gerberas" during massive night attacks since August.

In September, the number of such UAVs increased. On October 20, the Rivne region police reported the detection of fragments of devices, whipped air defense. In the pictures you can see aircraft type with t similar tail and sharp angles of fuselage. On the night of November 10, two of the same remedies fell in the territory of Moldova in the General Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine: these are Russian UAVs under the name "parody".

Oleksandr Kovalenko suggested that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation used them during the attack on Odessa, but the drones were influenced by the means of the HR, they went out of the route and crossed the Moldovan border. The Head of Communications Department of the Armed Forces Command Yuri Ignat in a comment by CNN from November 7 stated that such bait drones constitute almost half of all UAVs that the occupiers launch.

Instead of explosives, they carry balls printed on a 3D printer wrapped in foil. According to the focus a specialist in the field of military radio technologies Sergey Beskrestnov ("Flash"), these Russian drones do not have a combat unit and serve solely for distracting the attention of Ukraine's air defense. The mentioned foil balls are Lyneberg Lenses, a special tool that makes the object larger for radar (radar) than it really is.

Because of this, smaller in size "parody" is accepted for "Shahda". The most obvious purpose of the drones, such as "parody", is the depletion of the Ukrainian air defense system. The air forces monitor the movement of enemy objects in the sky, but when they are not able to distinguish conditional safe "parodies" from "shamed", then they are all perceived as shock.

These drones can be distinguished by the appearance and sound of engines, but it is difficult for the military to do it at night, and even when the devices fly quickly and high. It is possible that when approaching cities or critically important objects on false-goal will spend ammunition from a zenita or precious missiles. Thus, "parodies" together with "gerbera" can pave the path of "shamed", giving on fire to open important goals for impact.

However, statistics show that such tactics of Russians have not significantly increased the number of hits. For example, in August, when "parodies" were first used, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation spent 789 UAVs, of which 44 were hit by somewhere, 1 327/46 in September, 1 917/86 in October. The second option that can be used with the first is intelligence.

With the help of Shahaneda and drones-bastards, the enemy can reveal an approximate arrangement of air defense positions, but for this they must somehow track the movement of these aircraft and understand where they were beaten. These can be GPS transmitters whose work is strongly hindered by Ukrainian remedies or mobile modems. Knowing where the drones are knocked down and where they do not, the Russians are able to build safe routes for Shahmed. The third factor is psychological terror.

Information on increasing the number of UAVs that Russia is launched daily has caused concern to many Ukrainians. Of course, it is much more frightening to know that Ukraine is attacked by hundreds of potential "shamed", each of whom can get around the air defense and strike a home. And only then do people pay attention to how many of them were only baits without the combat part. In this way, Russia can expect to intimidate the inhabitants of Ukraine and make it accept its conditions.

It is possible to fight "parodies" as well as with "Shahmed", although the Russians are counting on it. It is likely that a large number of Ukraine is knocking down with the help of mobile fire groups and HR, but there are no accurate statistics. In particular, it is difficult to determine whether the drone was "muffled" or just fell because the fuel ended. The "parody" body is made of plywood like "gerber", it is a rather inexpensive material that sets and cheaper production.

Accordingly, such UAVs cost Russians much cheaper than shock and long -range "shahas". The "parody" has an internal combustion engine, probably two -cylinder and a screw with two wooden blades. Shahaneda has four -cylinder engines and clearly more expensive. According to GUR, the "parody" uses mostly foreign electronics. The flight controller contains components made in China, USA, Switzerland and Taiwan.
