Balloons over Kiev and region: Air defense has knocked down 6 air targets

In the airspace of Kyiv, about 6 enemy goals were found, according to some information they were balloons that moved in space under the influence of wind. It is reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration in its Telegram.

The report stresses that objects could carry angular reflectors and some intelligence equipment. "The air defense equipment worked for all air purposes. Officials also reported that the objects will be investigated, after which they will be able to establish their characteristics. "The final definition of the type and characteristics of the aircraft and their equipment will be made after a detailed study and analysis of the residual objects," the text reads.

Recall that the Speaker of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant Colonel Yuri Ignat stated that there is no point in calling Russian objects by balloons, since these are only primitive balloons with angular reflectors. "Balloons are grandfather methods, they have long been used," the military commented. Earlier it was reported that on February 14, numerous balloons with angular reflectors were noticed over the territory of Ukraine, which launched the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
