"Military refined": an expert revealed how the Armed Forces beat the Russians with drones from cardboard (video)

Cheap drones are harvested directly on the battlefield, equipping the MP-50 mines to attack Russian equipment. The Ukrainian military is successfully used on the front, unnoticed for radar unmanned aerial vehicles by Corvo PPDS made of cardboard. Aviation expert Bogdan Dolin's TV channel "Kyiv24" told about their peculiarities. Australia supplies 100 reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), known as PPDS on a monthly basis, which are disposable and almost imperceptible to radar systems.

These drones are designed for the delivery of ammunition or medicines to inaccessible places, but can also be used to explore and discharge explosives. They are able to fly up to 3 hours. The peculiarity of PPDS is the ability to carry a useful load weighing from 3 to 5 kilograms at a distance of about 120 kilometers. The drones are collected in place using special glue and gum for fastening of the wing.

Each UAV is equipped with an electric motor, a battery and a simple GPS system that determines the flight route. Afterwards, they are re -assembled and reuse. UAV fighters are collected simply in position with a special way. And the wing to the drone is attached with two gums. The kit also includes an electric motor, a battery and a simple GPS system that indicates a route during flight.

When the drone is land, the cardboard glider is thrown away, and all other elements are installed on another device. According to Kyiv24, the Ukrainian military actively use these drones to attack Russian facilities. They load mortar mines of 60 millimeters and attack targets up to 30 meters from the explosion. The ammunition contains 700 grams of explosives and has about 540 impressive elements.

PPDS battle drones have already been used to strike Su-30 and MiG-29, as well as anti-aircraft missile and harvest complexes of "shell-C1" and radars of the S-300 system. "The Ukrainian soldiers have already finalized this drone and were able to use it and, in particular, as a shock drone, transferring explosives, one of the options for using the Mina MP-50. To defeat several Russian objects, indicates that this drone can perform tasks, as well as Dron-Kamikadze, "-explained Bogdan Dolin.

The key advantage of PPDS is that they are made of waxed cardboard material, which is practically not noticeable for radar systems. Radio waves interact poorly with cardboard or foam, so drones are not found on a bird -like radar screens. Only expensive and accurate complexes can detect these drones even at short distances. PPDS is a cheap drones of less than $ 100, while Iranian ShahED costs $ 10-20 thousand. At the beginning of September, there are already 60 parties of such drones in Ukraine.

There is also a Ukrainian version of drones, designed using similar materials and aerodynamics, with some differences in the guidance system. The use of PPDS unmanned cardboard drones enable the Ukrainian military to impress Russian facilities with minimal risk of detection. They were effectively used to strike military equipment and aircraft of the Russian Federation. We will remind, in early October we wrote about how Ukraine uses hundreds of UAV Corvo.

Small and inexpensive cardboard drones, fastened with adhesive tape and erasers, change the situation at the front in Ukraine. It is believed that they attacked military aerodromes in Kursk and Pskov regions. A little earlier, the media wrote that the cardboard drones that attacked Kursk were developed in Ukraine.
