"Russians understand it": DTEK explained why the lighting graphs are not acting everywhere

The company noted that not only the production of electricity but also its transmission is important, so graphics can act where networks are broken. DTEK explained why Ukraine did not switch off electricity in the west, and in other parts of Ukraine - yes. The company noted that the schedules of shutdowns appear when there is not enough electricity, and there are two reasons. One of the reasons in the company called the impossibility of power plants to produce enough energy.

The second reason is the presence of electricity, but it is impossible to transmit it through broken networks. "The integrity of power grids is as important as electricity production. The Russians understand it and try to stop not only generation but also the transfer of electricity," DTEK added. It is for this reason that the situation with disconnection in different areas of the country is different. Where the networks have survived and the power plants are closer, the light turns faster.

In areas where electricity is complicated, the disconnection graphs are currently complicated. We will remind, earlier the media with reference to sources in the energy industry noted that the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine since January 2025 plans to change the schedules of hourly shutdowns of light throughout Ukraine. It was noted that the zones would combine areas with relatively identical electricity consumption.
