Not an easy task: Russia stifles US high -precision arms of the Armed Forces - Pentagon

American General Antonio Aguto noted the "high adaptability" of Russian troops on the suppression of high -precision weapons. Therefore, the US needs to improve its systems and make them stable and flexible. Lieutenant General of the US Army Antonio Aguto stated that various American high-precision ammunition provided to Ukraine quickly provided some tactical advantages to Ukrainian troops.

However, these advantages were nullified by the means of the Russian forces, which became a problem for command. December 12 was reported in Defense One. "The suppression of some of our more accurate opportunities is a difficult task," said Aguto, who since December 2022 heads a group of coordination of military assistance to Ukraine.

The observers reminded that earlier the representatives of the Pentagon had already talked about the mowing of the Russian high -precision missiles, which made Ukrainian troops together with US partners. The problem remains that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are looking for new ways of suppressing these ammunition. For example, the enemy has systems that can interfere and block GPS signals up to 25 km.

Such tools are not only able to create problems for drone operators, but also to interfere with the work of the Starlink Satellite Internet System. Therefore, Aguto believes that the Pentagon needs to improve his weapons and equipment so that it is "stable and flexible" and has the opportunity to withstand the enemy. At the same time, the general also noted the "very high adaptability of" Russian troops.
