To spread: Russia is actively increasing the number of self-propelled artillery installations 2C44 "Hyacint-K" on the front line, and they are increasingly recorded during fire operations. It is noteworthy that these SAUs were officially shown in December 2024, and in March they were reported. In September, new frames of use of Hyacinth-K SAU appeared on the platform X on the front, in particular, in the territory of Donetsk region.
They show that the machines are fired in pairs, while at a considerable distance from each other, which reduces the risk of counter -battering fire and drones. These artillery installations were first officially shown in December 2024 in the video of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
2C44 combines elements of wheel howitzer 2s43 "Malva" and towed gun 2A36 "Hyacinth-B", which allegedly made it: for the first time a new artillery appeared at the training of the Michael's Military Artillery School, and then was shown at the parade in Moscow. It is known that such installations are in service with the 238th Separate Artillery Brigade.
