New Technology Production of Arms Details Can Help AFU Front: What is known

The British company Babcock offers "print" on 3D printer parts for repair of small arms and military equipment directly on the battlefield. Babcock, whose headquarters is located in London, has created a technology that will help the military create details for repair of portable weapons and tanks on the battlefield. Such technology will be able to solve the problem with the supply of the warfare army.

According to a representative of the British company, this 3D printing technology will be able to help Ukrainian soldiers in the war with Russia, Daily Mail writes. Soon soldiers will be able to make parts for portable weapons and military equipment, including tanks, directly on the battlefield with 3D printers. This will be made possible by the new technology developed by Babcock, which was first used for the manufacture of metal parts for armored vehicles.

The company believes that this can make a real revolution in hostilities. According to a representative of Babcock, Tom Newman, this defense firm plans to create portable 3D printers that can be used to produce weapons and equipment repair parts. Tom Newman believes that new technology will help solve problems with the supply of spare parts to the territory of hostilities, that is, it will greatly simplify the supply of the warfare army.

"With this technology, you can create almost all high quality parts for portable weapons as well as armored vehicles. We have already been able to create high quality repair parts that have a complex structure weighing up to 20 kg," Newman says. According to a representative of Babcock, a new technological breakthrough will allow the current army on the battlefield not to stock up on a lot of repair parts. This technology will make military units that are involved in hostilities.

Also, according to Newman, Babcock technology can help Ukrainian soldiers during the war with Russia. The fact is that the British company has helped Ukraine since the invasion of the Russian Federation last year, providing important equipment. We remind that modernized T-62 tanks of 2022 began to appear in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The Russian media wrote that the old T-62 is even better than the newer T-72 or T-80-they are easier to operate and service.
