According to estimates based on photo and video footage, the Russian army lost 29 anti-aircraft missile complexes of the Thor series, including a little-known Arctic version of Thor-M2DT. Viewers write that the TORA is a special place in the Russian defense system, especially in the part of counteraction to winged missiles and high -precision weapons.
Most of these systems are mounted on the GM-355 chassis, which enables them to accompany tanks and other armored vehicles in different areas. Thor-M2 is a Russian anti-aircraft missile complex that was officially adopted by the Russian army in 2008. The system is equipped with 8 missiles 9m331 or 9m332 with a flight range from 1500 to 7000 meters and a flight height of 50 to 6000 meters. The SPR is highly deployed and is able to hit 10 to 12 targets within a minute.
The complex is equipped with two radar installed on the tower. The overall dimensions of the Thor-M2 are: the crew consists of three people.
