"Will be a direct provocation": in South Korea, Russia has warned from the DPRK assistance

South Korea President Yun Jec has stated that Seoul "will not act inaction" if North Korea receives Russian assistance in military technology. The conclusion of a military agreement between the Russian Federation and North Korea poses a threat to the security of Ukraine and South Korea. This was stated by South Korean President Jun Jol Yol in his address to the UN General Assembly on September 20, CNN writes.

According to the South Korean leader, his country, together with its allies, "will not work" if Russia provides the DPRK with assistance in expanding the potential in the field of weapons of mass destruction (ZMA). "Having united in unwavering solidarity and firmly adhering to our principles, we can prevent any illegal provocation," the politician said.

The President of South Korea called "paradoxical" the fact that a permanent member of the UN Soviet Council invades another sovereign state, and weapons and ammunition are supplied by a regime that grossly violates the UN resolution.

"If the DPRK acquires the information and technologies necessary to strengthen its potential of ZMZ, in exchange for the support of Russia by ordinary weapons, the agreement will be a direct provocation that threatens peace and security of not only Ukraine but also the Republic of Korea," - said Jun Sok Yol. Recall that according to the media of September 20, North Korea can put a wide list of weapons.
