"Make mistakes": Georin explained why the army's transition to corps could be ineffective
The deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade, Lieutenant Colonel of the Armed Forces Maxim Zhorin (call sign-"Mosa") expressed in his Telegram-channel. "The transition to corps in the Ukrainian army is a solution that has long been ripe. And most importantly, it is now to do everything to achieve an effective result, not just for reports," the military said.
Maxim Georin recalled that corps existed in the Ukrainian Army Structure before, but it was a formal division, "administrative superstructures over brigades. " According to Lieutenant Colonel, such buildings did not make sense, because the units were still fighting in different sections of the collision line. Under such conditions, it was impossible to coordinate their actions effectively.
"If we talk about corps as a more effective system of troops and scaling successful units - all military units that are part of the corps should fight in one direction. I hope, the new organizational structure of the army takes into account all past mistakes," - said Deputy Commander 3 -Oshbr. On February 3, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces announced the return of army corps to the Armed Forces structure to strengthen the combat capability of Ukrainian units.
Military media "militaristic" explained that army buildings were needed to effectively control the Great Army in order to have military units capable of performing tasks in a separate operating direction. The buildings usually include several combat divisions or brigades and the formation of security. The corpus structure was in the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces in the 1990s, but later the system was reformed, and operative commands were created on the basis of part of the buildings.
