The clergyman of the UOC attacked his colleague from the PCU for calling for the activity of "Moscow priests". In the village of Yalanets, Vinnytsia region on July 22, during a singing of the killed Ukrainian military Alexander Ziniv priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Fr. The priest of the UOC, armed with a cross, struck his opponent several times and tore a cross from his chest. The video of the incident was posted by the Vinnytsia News Telegram channel. He appealed to a representative of local authorities and demanded to ban the activities of the priests with the UOC.

"Valery Fedorovich, you as the head of the Ukrainian city, the Ukrainian territorial community, prohibit the activities of Russian priests in Ukraine. This is not for me. It is for the sake of the one who is now lying in the coffin," Fr. Mykhailo. At this point, one of the women in mourning clothing approached the podium and asked to stop the sermon, but the priest of the UOC, who did a funeral service, did more aggressively.

Swinging the cross, he caused bodily harm to his colleague, after which the attendees intervened and dispersed. After the incident, the priest of the UOC became the side and argued that he was not a Moscow, but a Ukrainian priest who has long been serving in the village. Earlier it was reported that the priests of the Rivne Diocese of the UOC -MP appealed to Metropolitan Onufri with a request to call the Synod of the UOC -MP.
