Split in the Armed Forces: Why Ukrainian Commanders are at odds and how it reflects on the battlefield

The main battle is currently the serviceman and politician Igor Lutsenko does not consider events at the front. Even more important to the country, in his opinion, is the conflict of generations in the leadership of the Armed Forces, which is now firing at all. Dear Ukrainian people, activists and just indifferent! I draw your attention to the fact that the main battle of today is not fighting for Karlovka, Novo Alexandrovka or Vovchansk.

Much more decisiveness is in the duel of different generations of the military. And it's not about age, but mentality. And the struggle is not for tactical or even strategic successes, but in general for a fundamental chance of defense forces to succeed. It is the struggle of two human cultures. One who came to us through Russia is coercion and repression, is the tyranny of one leader and the disenfranchisement of all others.

The other is our specific and partly western: when the country is the territory of the contract of free people, when the war is a matter of personal choice (but also with the full and powerful political consequences of this choice). In the trenches - slaves without rights or volunteers with dignity? The problem is that the Ukrainian people, oddly enough, in the trenches are poorly distinguished by these two approaches.

Unfortunately, a large number of people are deceived by rhetoric on unity and discipline, do not realize when these useful principles are brought to insanity. When bed and whitewashing borders become more important than survival skills and combat initiative. It is incomprehensible to me: the Ukrainians at one time rebelled against Yanukovych's authoritarianism, but until recently, too, too, they were logged in the collective "Yanukovych" in the Ukrainian army.

The armed struggle for our country in 2014 and 2022 gave birth to (or rather opened) to us wonderful and effective military leaders. In the situation of managerial chaos and historical uncertainty, they quickly navigated where to shoot and where to direct armored cars. In addition, a large number of "classic" military units began to work in a completely new way (I was lucky to get into such).

Instead, those scoundrels who in the 14th and 22nd showed themselves on the worst side are not punished for inaction or at least removed, but took a revenge and still set a tone, and a large percentage determine the rules and orders in armed armed Forces. Under the slogan "I believe in the Armed Forces" these frames continued the same Armed Forces and destroy. The example of my brother Nicholas Kohanovsky is fresh and hurt.

These are people who are indifferent to fight against Putin or for Putin, for NATO or Against NATO, they have no beliefs. Only enormous skill in the show and lies for the superiors and oppression of subordinates. Now a new generation of commanders, a generation of 14/22, rebels against the old and indifferent. Young (not always age, but always-soul) people seek to fight and win, old ones (often only by outlook, not years)-they want to stay in positions at all costs and command subordinates.
