"Support Peace": G7 countries urged China to influence the Russian Federation to end the war in Ukraine

According to journalists, G7 members hope that China will insist on an immediate, complete and unconditional withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. Foreign ministers from the Seven Group countries have expressed an appeal to China to influence Russia in order to complete the armed conflict in Ukraine. Reuters writes about it. G7 representatives met at the periphery of the UN General Assembly and published a joint statement.

The members of the Great Seven expressed the hope of active participation of China in insisting on the immediate, full and unconditional withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. They also congratulated China in the meeting under the leadership of Kiev in Jedda, and continued to support China in his desire to maintain a fair and sustainable peace, including a direct dialogue with Ukraine.

The joint statement does not mention any country, but it is said that its members "again urge third parties to stop providing Russia with any assistance in an aggressive war, otherwise they suffer serious expenses. " We will remind that in July at the NATO summit in Vilnius the country G7 signed a document on "security guarantees" for Ukraine. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Declaration lists specific security conditions.
