The father of the newly appointed deputy chairman of the SBU Naumyuk found a valid passport of the Russian Federation - "Schemes"
According to the investigation, the passport was not canceled and is not listed on the list of invalid passports on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Naumyuk himself acknowledged that his father and brother had Russian citizenship, but claimed that they gave up "for household reasons".
According to the SBU press service, Naumyuk passed all the necessary inspections before appointment to the post, and his relatives are expected to cancel the citizenship of the Russian Federation, but the consideration of the relevant applications is blocked by the authorized bodies of Russia. According to an excerpt from the Rospasport Register, Naumyuk's father, Anatoliy Naumyuk, received a Russian passport in 2015. He now has an individual taxpayer's tax number in Russia.
The passport number is not on the list of invalid passports, which was confirmed by the check at the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. For the first time, the presence of Russian citizenship with his father Naumyuk became known after the investigation of the competition for the post of director of the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), where Sergey Naumyuk was one of the candidates.
Naumyuk initially denied this information, but later acknowledged that his father and brother received Russian passports, but applications for refusal of Russian citizenship were submitted. The appointment of Sergiy Naumyuk was announced by President Vladimir Zelensky on May 25. The SBU press service stressed that all the necessary inspections were carried out before appointment.
