Maneuvers in the South Chinese Sea: Navy China and Russian Federation "destroyed" the enemy submarine

As part of the Maneuvers "Maritime Interaction-2024", the ships of the two countries found and conditionally destroyed the "enemy" submarine with the use of missile bombs. The ships of the naval fleet of Russia and the Naval Forces of the People's Liberation Army of China have successfully "destroyed" the conditional submarine of the enemy during the exercises "Maritime Interaction-2024".

These exercises conducted in the South Chinese Sea emphasize the strategic partnership of Moscow and Beijing, which is strong, against the background of exacerbation of tensions from the United States. This was reported on July 16 by The Eurasian Times. The training began on July 15 in an unnamed military port in Zhangia, the province of Guandun, and should end on July 17.

It is noted that the main purpose of joint maneuvers is to develop and improve joint operational protocols between two fleets and exchange technical experience. According to Russian media, "Maritime Interaction-2024" is the thirteenth event of this series, which has been held annually since 2012. The first joint event was held in 2005 in the Yellow Sea.

The united detachment included the Corvettes of the Pacific Fleet of Russia "Thug" and "Resky", as well as three warships and one auxiliary ship of the Navy NVAK. On the first day of the exercises, the crews worked out the protruding exercises and conducted artillery shootings. They discovered and conditionally destroyed the "enemy" submarine with the use of rocket bombs, as well as carried out artillery shelling of marine goals.

Common patrols also included search operations, in particular in the Philippine Sea, where the Chinese Hengshui frigate was used as a "suspicious ship". The operations included the stopping and search of the vessel with the support of helicopters from the Chinese destroyer Yinchuan and the Russian Corvette "Correct". We will remind, on July 10 a group of Chinese warships led by the Sandong aircraft carrier was noticed in the Pacific Ocean 500 km southeast of the Japanese Island Okinawa.
