Series instead of weapons: SE will spend 32 million UAH on "Happy Life Course" and "Family Consultant"

Two Ukrainian companies won the state tender for the production of series about family life. One of these companies managed to receive about UAH 58 million from the state within two months. In the electronic procurement system "Transparent" found two tenders for the production of series on family-psychological topics. The tenders have announced the Multimedia Platform of Foreign Broadcasting of Ukraine, which plans to spend 32 million hryvnias from the state budget.

The details of the purchase understood the focus. Both tenders ended on September 12, 2023. In both cases, they were announced by the MPIU SE, which owns the Freedom and Home State TV channels. The first tender plans to spend 17 440 000 UAH on the production of the series "Family Consultant". The winner is the company "Energy Film Production", owned by citizen Natalia Bogomolov. The Clarity portal stated that this company won tenders worth about UAH 58 million from July to August 2023.

In the second - 15 260 016 UAH for the series "Course of happy life". The winner is the company "French about", owned by citizen Alexei Goncharenko. The Clarity portal stated that this company has won tenders for 20 million UAH for two years. The tender description states what money will be spent: "writing/adaptation of scripts and provides a partial technological cycle of production". Each of the tender is comments from citizens who consider their criminal losses of budgetary funds.

In particular, Olga Cherkashina wrote: "The inappropriate use of public funds during wartime" under the tender for the series "Course of Happy Life". Citizens Alina Plyichuk, Kateryna Britavskaya and others left similar comments under the series "Family Consultant". The State Audit Service should be answered to the remark - there is no answer yet.

It should be noted that in July 2023 citizens of Ukraine drew attention to a number of tenders in the public procurement system, with a total volume of UAH 400 million. In particular, the issue arose about the series that the showman Yuri Gorbunov was to be filmed. The main characters of the series are programmers from Kharkiv, who fled to the town of Ingulets. Later, Gorbunov stated that he refused the idea of ​​cinema.
