The cover of rains and tanks: in Azov told how the Russian Federation was rushing to Dobropillya and how the breakthrough was closed

To spread: In August 2025, the armed forces of the Russian Federation threw 100,000 soldiers on Dobropillya, but the Ukrainian army knew about the plans of the enemy and prepared, told the chief of staff of the first building of the National Guard, Lieutenant Colonel Arsen "Lemko" Dmitryk. To break forward, the Russians used rainy days when no drone was in the air.

The Russians gathered 51 and 8 armies, the infantrymen of the Russian Federation under the Dobropillya, Dmitryk explained in an interview with The War Zone. To stop the enemy, in early August, they created a single command point that planned all the details of the operation. About 100 commanders arrived on the hottest section of the front.

In a conversation with Twz, Lieutenant Colonel revealed some details of planning and implementation of battles, which did not occur cascading consequences along the front line. According to him, the first Azov NSU Corps, as well as the commander of the landing troops, units of unmanned systems, gathered on the dangerous plot. General Alexander Sirsky, the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces, was headed by the process.

Dmitry was asked how Ukrainians knew about the plans of the Russians - information came from people or drones. However, the military refused to clarify the details, but explained that the success of Dobropillya was the result of the joint work of commanders, each of whom made his experience. "This team center was built on the basis of Azov. However, different commanders brought their unique knowledge. It cannot be said that this was the main success for us. It is a common success," he explained.

Dmitry described the tactics of the enemy during a breakthrough in the Dobropilsk direction. It turned out that for offensive actions, the Russians would use rainy weather when drones on both sides cannot climb into the sky. Motorcycles, the main task of which is to exchange the road, go before attacking. The breakthrough is accompanied by strokes of artillery. After the demining, columns from 5-6 cars go forward: the first-a tank, the rest is another armored vehicle.

If the tanks manage to break into some area, they are followed by light armored vehicles, as well as Bagi and motorcycles. Similar tactics are called "meat grinder". "The enemy uses tanks and armored vehicles to break through Ukrainian defense lines. The enemy tried to fulfill the assault missions during bad weather, such as rain, and it is impossible to use planes during the rain. Why the enemy chose such equipment? That our Ukrainian drones do not attack them.

" The military explained how the breakthrough of the Russian Federation was stopped under Dobropillya. It turned out that Ukrainians operated in small groups to counterattack from different flanks. The commander did not tell how many people in groups and what weapons were used, since the operation is still ongoing. He also noted that the fighting was going until the leaves on the trees fell. When the leaves fall off, the Russians will invent a new tactic because they "study", Dmitry said.

"Sorry, this operation has not yet been completed, so we cannot comment on it, but there are some areas on the front line where the enemy surrendered completely. But it is a few, it's about a few dozen people," Azov fighter said. It should be noted that Focus wrote about the offensive of the Russian Federation on Dobropillya and about fighting in the Pokrovsky direction.
