Donbas and Zaporizhzhia: GUR named the directions of a possible offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation
For this purpose, in the spring and summer this year, the Russian command intends to mobilize from 300 to 500 thousand soldiers. This was reported by a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadim Skibitsky. According to him, Ukrainian intelligence recorded the preparation of the enemy for the offensive operation this year, which testifies to the Kremlin's intention to continue the war against Ukraine.
Skibitsky notes that Russian troops can go in three directions, and in the Kherson region and on the approaches to the Crimea the enemy will defend. "We have determined that the offenses of the Russian Federation can be in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as possibly in Zaporozhye. At the same time in the Kherson region and in the Crimea, the troops of the Russian Federation will protect defense," - said a representative of GI.
He added that a new wave of mobilization in Russia will last up to two months, but the implementation of the offensive plans will depend strongly on the level of training of personnel and technical equipment of the Russian forces, as well as on the level, quality and rate of Western military support of the Armed Forces. As an example, Skibitsky gave a blow to Makeevka, which resulted in the enemy lost more than 300 people.
"The blow to the occupied Makeevka is part of our counter -offensive - the great resonant loss of the personnel of the mobilized is not only a testimony to the helplessness of the Russian military command, but also the psychological pressure on the Russians who hesitate to participate in this absurd war.
" We will remind, after the impact on December 31 on the military base of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Makeevka the Russian authorities categorically forbidden to publish data on mobilized Russians, which were liquidated there. According to the military commissioner of Samara region Alexei Vdovina, foreign intelligence may be used by the publication of personal data of liquidated Russian military.
