In the European Commission told about the content of the ninth package of sanctions against Russia (video)

In the EU, they intend to complicate Russia's receipt of drones, as well as restrictions on Russian banks, industry and almost 200 individuals. The ninth package of EU sanctions against the Russian Federation came into force on Wednesday, December 7. This was reported by the Chairman of the European Commission Ursula von der Layen on his Twitter page. The politician reported that work with three Russian banks will be restricted as part of a new package.

In addition, the sanctions will affect about 200 people, including Russian servicemen, ministers, governors, representatives of the defense industry of the Russian Federation, deputies of the State Duma and the Federation Council.

According to Ursula von der Layen, some of the persons mentioned in one way or another are involved in massive shelling of Ukrainian critical infrastructure, forced deportation of Ukrainian children to the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as to the assignment of Russia from the occupied Ukrainian territories. Back in the EU, there was a full ban on the Russian Bank for the development of the regions.

In addition, a new package of sanctions involves the blocking of four Russian TV channels. Restrictions touched by double -use goods that can be used in the war against Ukraine. These include some chemical components, nerve substances, electronics, software software. The European Commission also introduced a prohibition on direct exports to the Russian Federation and Iran motors, which can be used for drones-Kamikadze. Additional restrictions have affected the mining sector of Russia.

The EU has banned investments in this sector of the Russian industry. Earlier, Focus reported that the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine intends to impose sanctions against 2,000 Russian propagandists. The list of sanctions included cultural figures, bloggers, journalists, as well as the owners of media resources who ignited hatred of Ukrainians.
