Air Defense Record: The Armed Forces Stuffed Two Buk-M3 installations in three days (video)
These actions are a record indicator in such a short time from the beginning of a full -scale invasion, especially taking into account the use of drones and new tactics. This was reported by Defense Express observers. Thus, on October 23, Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) found and destroyed the Buk-M3 missile installation, and on the night against October 25, another blow was hit by the Buk-M3 complex together with the RLS of target illumination and the 9C36 missiles .
Both complexes were in the occupied territory of Lugansk region, a few tens of kilometers from the front line, which was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces. The observers noted that the use of drones instead of Himars artillery systems showed high cost -effectiveness. The cost of a blow to a drone-bomber, equipped with an ammunition for $ 500, is repeatedly lower than the price of destroyed air defense, estimated at millions of dollars.
At the same time, the drones, being inconspicuous and mobile, allow the Ukrainian forces to approach the goals and strike point strikes, minimizing the risk to personnel. Thus, the tactics of using unmanned systems for such strikes justified itself, in particular in the economic aspect. "Earlier, the Ukrainian military was mostly hunted for these air defense complexes with the help of Himars artillery system.
