In Orban's office rejected Putin's arrest in case of his visit to Hungary

Hungary has signed and ratified the Roman Statute, but does not intend to comply with its norms in the event of a visit of the Kremlin head. If Russian President Vladimir Putin comes to Hungary, he is not planned to be arrested. Gergel Gulyash, Prime Minister Head Viktor Orban, made a relevant statement, Reuters reports on March 23. He believes that there will be no legal grounds for this. According to him, the Roman Statute was not "built into the Hungarian legal system.

" The Roman Statute, which defines the actions of the International Criminal Court (ICS), Hungary has agreed to sign. The country also approved the ratification of the document. The politician noted that Budapest has not yet formed positions regarding the arrest of Putin. The Hungarian government believes that such decisions only provoke further escalation. We will remind, the International Criminal Court in the Hague on March 17 issued a warrant for the arrest of the head of Russia.

The court's statement stated that the sanction of detention was also issued to Maria Lviv-Belov, authorized under the President of the Russian Federation for the Rights of the Child. It is responsible for the process of export of children from the occupied Ukrainian territories, which lasts from the moment of a full -scale invasion of the occupation troops of the neighboring country. This was the basis for announcing a decision by an international court.

As reported by March 20, Bloomberg, Hungary has blocked a joint statement from the European Union Member States to the arrest of a Russian dictator. It is envisaged that a clear position of the official Budapest on Putin's arrest will be expressed by representatives of the country at a meeting of EU leaders at a summit in Brussels within a week before March 26.
