To spread: journalists with reference to sources report that the head of the Armed Forces Alexander Sirsky dismissed the commander of two army corps. According to the media, we are talking about the commander of the 17th Corps of Vladimir Silenko and the 20th Maxim Kitugin. Two commissioners of the corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were fired about one or two weeks ago, reports "Ukrainian Pravda" with reference to two anonymous interlocutors in defense forces.

According to insiders, Sirsky made such decisions due to loss of positions in the area of ​​responsibility of the corps. Journalists noted that Vladimir Silenko, the 17th Army Corps, is in Zaporizhzhia region, where the village of Kamyanske and part of the village of Plavni on the Dnieper bank has recently been lost. Maxim Kitugin headed the 20th Army Corps, and in his area of ​​responsibility the invaders were able to break through from Donetsk to Dnipropetrovsk region.

The UP notes that the removal from the posts of Silenko and Kitugin is the first personnel displacement after the defense forces have switched to the corps system. At the time of publication of the news, the General Staff of the Armed Forces and personally Alexander Sirsky did not comment on the report of "Ukrainian Truth" on the release of commander.
